Return Policy

In the first insatance, Riverside Car Sales Ltd should be contracted via telephone, email or letter outlining the potential issues. All telephone calls are recorded.

Any complaint will be considered at Director level and a response given.

If you wish Riverside Cars Sales Ltd to consider a rejection of the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, this must be requested in writing via email and/or letter. A rejection will only be considered if a significant fault is demonstratable clearly and concisely.

If a significant fault is not demonstratable clearly and conciselty, any rejection request will not be considered.

If the fault is demonstratable, it will be the responsibility of the comsumer to return the vehicle to Riverside Car Sales Ltd Derby Road Burton on Trent Staffordshire DE14 1RN. Any associated cost for the return of a vehicle and all keys, paperworks and handbook(s) pack will be the resposibility of the customer.

Riverside Car Sales Ltd, within the 14 days of the vehicles return, will have the vehicle inspercted and produce a full report of any faults. This will be made available upon request via email or post.

The conclusion of this report will form the basis for the decision to accept or reject the rejection request.

If the rejection request is accepted, funds will be returned to the customer by bank transfer. If the vehicle is purchased through one of our funding partners. Riverside Car Sales Ltd will contact the appropriate lender to unwind the funding.

Any part exchange forming part of the contract will not be returned to you unless previously agreed by Riverside Car Sales Ltd. The monetary value of the part exchange will be included in the refund amount.

If the rejection request is rejected, an email and/or letter will be sent outlining the reasons for this. Customer are requested to collect the vehicle within 3 days of this decision. Storage charges of £20+ VAT per day may be applied after this period unless otherwise mutually agreed in advance.

Riverside Car Sales Ltd reserves the right to issue a charge before refund for any decline in the condition of the vehicle above what would considered normal wear and tear commensurate with miles driven since collection and for failure to return al keys, paperwork, and handbook(s) pack. In addition, a charge of 47 pence per mile will be deducted from the refund amount.
